I have experience on both the manufacturing and consulting side of renewable energy, with exposure to product design, climate resilience testing, and client proposal work. My extensive communication and teamwork skills come from my many leadership roles!

First Solar: Product Development Intern

I developed dashboards to analyze wind impact on solar panels in relation to tracker angle. I also mapped hail, wind and corrosion potential across the United States to visualize climate resilience and ISO standard compliance.

Hey! That’s me.

I am Yehalah, an aspiring energy engineer. With a knack for finding innovative solutions, I thrive in a fast-paced, dymanic environment.

Growing up in Sri Lanka, I experienced a severe energy crisis caused by the country’s dependence on conventional energy sources. This experience gave me a strong understanding of what energy access means for a community. It is why I chose engineering, and it is the through-line of everything I want to accomplish.

My end goal is to become an operator and developer of renewable energy projects, serving communities that experience energy poverty.
